Dispirited smiles
Not reaching empty eyes
How can you live with all those lies?
Not looking sad
Knowing the truth
Why do you smile
When all there is are lies?
What are you thinking
When your smile
Lies with empty eyes?
No merry twinkle
No happiness within
Happiness in slavery
Calls to you instead.
