A/N: Oh good lord, FINALLY my writer's dam has been broken. Thank you Dishwalla, and their lovely lovely song, "Once In A While", from which I've stolen the title of this little fuzzbucket.

Alessandro smiled, looking over at Jeordie's prone figure. He loved watching him sleep. Seeing him so quiet, so at peace with everything, especially himself. He frowned a bit as Jeordie stirred, wondering if he'd woken him, somehow.

"What time is it?" Jeordie mumbled.

"I'm not sure...do you have to be somewhere?" Alessandro worried.

"No. Is it still dark out?" Jeordie rolled over, peering at Alessandro blearily.

Alessandro grinned at Jeordie, "I just said, I don't know," He laughed softly, curling closer.

"Mm, you're warm." Jeordie enveloped Alessandro in his arms, kissing his shoulder softly.

"You're strangely happy for just waking up." Alessandro murmured.

"Yeah....you ever just have a really nice dream that makes you feel like everything is gonna be okay?"

Alessandro nodded, "Yeah. Like laying outside at night...stars overhead, and forever is just yours to take."

Jeordie closed his eyes, a small, rare smile gracing his face, "Or like laying next to your lover and knowing that he's the best thing to have ever happened to you." He leaned a bit closer, whispering softly into Alessandro's ear, "And knowing that no matter what happens, that he knows that I love him. And that I will, forever."
