The words are falling from my mouth
As I say them I know I'm wrong
"I never want to see you again; I hate you!"
Always the same old song

The emotions overcome my mind,
My heart bleeds into my mouth
The words vile and never ending
I'm sorry I can't stop them

You have to know...they're never true
The mists are closing in on me.
The fog is closing in on my mind

Trying to stop the words is futile,
They show their ugly faces anyway
Until they feel they've made their point

Not until you're crying, or mad as hell
Then, only then...those ugly biting words go away.
I'm sorry for all I've said or done,
Never was it intentionally to hurt you

The breaking of all
Trust and closure
I see it smashed on the ground
Your trust in me is gone

To gain it back I try to smile and
Pretend it isn't true,
The emptiness inside of me
Has now moved on to you.
